On December 07th at 9:09 PM MST, we will experience a Full Moon in Gemini. Unfortunately, this will bring in some difficult energy due to the Moon’s exact alignment with Mars. That means that we’ll have to deal with the red-hot nature of the Moon/Mars conjunction precisely opposite the Sun. We can expect, therefore, to feel more of the darker energies of Mars during this Full Moon in Gemini lunation. This increases the chances of confrontations and power struggles due to the warlike nature of Mars.
Since Mars is aligned with the Moon, there’s a strong likelihood that we’ll see this energy surface in our homes due to the Moon’s rulership over home and family affairs. Angry (Mars) emotions (Moon) can reach a boiling point due to bruised egos (Sun). Due to Mars being retrograde, this may indeed represent a conflict over an old issue that never got resolved.
We’ll obviously need to keep a firm grip on our tempers due to the potentially explosive energy of this tense lunation. Just in general, Full Moons are notorious for bringing out heightened emotions, but since anger and frustration are strongly ‘dialed in’ with this Gemini Full Moon, we’ll need to be extra cautious with letting volatile emotions get the best of us.
This Full Moon is also about communication due to the influence of Gemini. This can mean that we may need to speak our truth by ‘drawing a line in the sand’ and/or setting some boundaries with anyone who has been vexing us in some way. However, since the Sun is in Sagittarius, we’ll need to be cautious with the words that we choose to express because Sagittarius energy can be brutally honest especially during a conflict.
With that being said, if we do indeed find ourselves needing to confront someone, I do think that the wisest choice for us will be to let this fierce Mars energy fade away before trying to work through things. Otherwise, we could end up making a bad situation even worse by going into verbal combat mode.
Another wise choice would be to leverage this passionate Mars energy into goals that our empowering for us in some way. That’s actually always a good idea for challenging Mars energy is to take action in a positive way. For instance, we can use this energy for physical fitness and/or we can push ourselves to finish up an important project.
Since, the Gemini-Sagittarius energy is academic/intellectual in nature, another good choice would be to channel this energy into studying something of importance to us. In other words, this Full Moon in Gemini energy is ‘wired’ to bring out the negative aspects of Mars, but we don’t have to be a victim of this energy, we can choose to use this dynamic energy to move ourselves forward.
